Phase 1 F2F

  • EPUB WG will likely hold a 2 day F2F in NY area during week of 14-18 June.
  • ZedDist adjacent F2F main topic: EPUB contributions. Therefore ideally held before the EPUB meeting. (Outline being developed at ZedDist_EPUB_Contributions)
  • Who would be available for 2-3 days that week (mon-wed or wed-fri)? Who would be available over the weekend (12th, 13th)?
    • Hosting options in the area?
    • Is a Virtual F2F an option for this meeting?

Audio component thread - status update 

 Lloyd and Dominic to come up with audio samples in MP3, Speex and AMR-WB. Each sample will be 15-20 seconds long, 
 with the original in WAV format. The samples should be made available in a fairly public place (daisy.org somewhere) so that people 
 beyond the ZedDist community can listen and react to them as well.

Document Text thread - status update 

 Markus, Christian and Marisa will begin a wiki page to describe the most critical semantic elements that would need to be added to the XHTML base.
