ZedAI T–V distinctions Proposal

Many languages have second-person pronouns that distinguish varying levels of politeness, social distance, courtesy or familiarity toward the addressee (see corresponding wikipedia entry, where T-form implies the informal address and V-form implies the formal address).

In some languages, German being one of them, this involves also capitalization. Since German Braille is generally not capitalized a Braille translation engine therefore needs to know whether it is looking at a V-form and hence needs to capitalize the pronoun.

For that reason a Braille transcriber needs to mark up V-forms.

A proposal for a possible markup solution has been made in one of the conf calls, namely

 Guten Morgen, Herr Standish! Wie geht es <w role="v-form">Ihnen</w>?
