Agenda

The call agenda was distributed to the Advisory Committee list on August 26 to the Z3986 list plus to 15 new people who have expressed interest. The draft agenda to the FTF meeting was included as an attachment.

Confirmation of Date and Time for Next Call

The next call is scheduled for September 3 at the same time. The FTF Meeting is scheduled for September 16-18 at the Google Campus in Mountain View.

Purpose of This Call

The purpose of this call is to provide introductory information to those interested in joining the Working Group.

Introductions were made and George outlined that everyone who makes a time commitment to being part of the Working Group will be added to the email list. The draft of the FTF agenda is included to help with the decision of attending the FTF meeting. Per, Bob and Peter confirmed that they will be attending. Kathy McWhorter decided to not join the Working Group. John Gardner as a member of the MathML and SVG Projects had already expressed interest only in the affiliated groups.

George explained technical details, the process, requirements, goals and answered questions.
