One of the goals of the DAISY Consortium is to encourage and support the use of DAISY Standards.

The DAISY Consortium intends to build a support system to facilitate gathering and development of content and documentation about DAISY tools and standards collectively by the entire DAISY Community. Many organizations across the globe publish internal and public documents. Accessibility of such documents is essential for inclusion of persons with print disabilities in their activities. DAISY Consortium can help these organizations develop strategies and procedures for creating and converting documents in accessible formats.
