DAISY OK Project

Dear Friends and Members of the DAISY Consortium,

The "DAISY OK" designation denotes conformance to the DAISY Standard. The mandate of the DAISY OK Working Group has been to define what DAISY OK is and how it can be applied. The DAISY OK Project Team has developed a list of required functionality and advanced features that describe and define both a conforming DAISY Reading System (player) and a conforming DAISY DTB. These features identify the "handshake" which must take place between the DTB and the Reading System to ensure that the end user enjoys an enriched reading experience.

Reading System developers and DAISY Book producers will be able to apply for a DAISY OK license using the Self-Certification Forms which are based on the DAISY OK Requirements and stated Advanced Features.
