The DAISY Consortium will be holding its next conference in Amsterdam from May 12-14, 2003.

Our next DAISY conference scheduled for 2003 will be held in Amsterdam from May 12 through 14.

The General meeting will be held on the morning of May 12, and the conference will begin at 14:00 that afternoon.

The tentative schedule is:

  • Monday, May 12 14:00 to 18:00
  • Tuesday, May 13 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00
  • Wednesday, May 14 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00

An email call for presentations and papers has been distributed. Exhibit booth space is also available. See the tentative program for more information about the call for papers. Send email to Maarten Verboom at MVerboom@fnb.nl and/or Jorrit Timmermans jtimmermans@theprojectnetwork.nl to request information about exhibiting.

Those of you who attended our last Technical Conference in Los Angeles in the spring of 2001 know what a great learning and sharing experience it was. We are really excited about our plans for the 2003 Amsterdam conference, and we know that it will be a spectacular event.

This conference is the place to learn more about new developments. There will be many opportunities to meet other Members, Friends, and the DAISY staff and to share experiences.

Conference registration is now open, and we encourage you to reserve your accommodations and register as soon as possible. It has been two years since our last conference, and many exciting developments have taken place during that time.
