The Australian and New Zealand Accessible Information Group (ANZAIG) is a joint member of the DAISY Consortium. The agencies forming ANZAIG are:

  • Association of Blind Citizens of New Zealand (ABC NZ)
  • Blind Citizens Australia (BCA)
  • Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB)
  • Round Table on Information Access for People with Print Disabilities

The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind commenced producing books in DAISY format in August 2002.

The Association of Blind Citizens of New Zealand (ABC NZ) and Blind Citizens Australia (BCA) are not themselves producers, but represent consumers of library and information services.

ANZAIG members meet regularly. Topics for planning and discussion include resource sharing, copyright, XML and DAISY production, and the transition from analogue to digital delivery systems.

The Round Table on Information Access for People with Print Disabilities facilitates and influences the production and use of quality alternative formats for people with print disabilities by optimising the evolving Round Table body of knowledge.
