Member Detail: Niels Thøgersen

Niels has been working within the DAISY-domain as a content provider since the first ideas of DAISY = structured audio and text came out from Sweden in the mid-1990’ties. He has been a dedicated follower of the DAISY way of reading since then, and his company has been providing students at all levels in Denmark with study books in all the different flavours of DAISY, most often as books with full text synchronised with audio and including all images in the book.  He has been involved with the testing of the first DAISY recording tools, and he is known as a strong advocate and supporter of DAISY full text books. Some people will also know him for his persistent support of making skippability a reality already in DAISY 2.02...

His company is a long-term member of the DAISY Community as a Friend.
