OO BELTIZ is a non-governmental organisation providing various services for the blind and partially sighted people of Belarus. The total number of visually impaired people is ca. 20,000. The main fields of our activities are: labour rehabilitation of the blind and visually impaired through the employment at our plants; their elementary and everyday rehabilitation, integration into the social life, providing them with different technical aids, including DAISY. We represent Belarus in major International organisations for the blind.
