Member Detail: Polish Association of the Blind

Our Association brings together blind and visually impaired persons. We focus on their
social integration, rehabilitation, equalization of opportunities in access to information,
education, employment and broader social activity in order to protect their civil
rights. We help people who are losing their sight and the individuals supporting them to cope
with the new situation. We teach how to be independent at home, during travel, at work, and
how to actively participate in the life of the society. We develop systematic solutions to make life
easier for the visually impaired and we strive for the proper perception of the challenges
they face.
