Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired of Srpska is an institution with a primary goal to inform, educate, help and participate in cultural life of blind and visually impaired people as well as the development and promotion of library activities in the Republic of Srpska.

Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired of Srpska apart from being an institution whose essential function is to collect, edit and loan books in accessible formats, also provides publishing services like printing books written in Braille. They also edit and copy books and magazines in mp3 format.  In order to help blind and visually impaired people to integrate into society, this library also offers specialized trainings on learning and reading Braille, how to use computers with audio software, etc.

Library is also a place where various events (cultural, amusement) are held.
