• Striving for the diversification of jobs, which can be done or even more productive if held by the visually impaired

• Conducting apprenticeships for telephone operators
• Finding employment for the visually impaired who have already been trained

Research

• Developing Indonesian Braille symbols
• Encouraging the access of the visually impaired in Indonesia to todays computer and information technology, and developing computer software and equipment for the visually impaired

Publications and Awareness Campaigns

• Providing information concerning visual impairment issues through web site, brochures and leaflets
• Participating/holding exhibitions on the special equipment, competences of the visually impaired in Indonesia, etc
