Korean Braille Library started digital talking book production in 1996. As many as 7,500 titles and 700 categories of recordings were kept in the Korean Braille Library, while the number of persons who borrowed books each year reached approximately 1,500. Currently the Library is producing digital talking books on CDs using DAISY technology, and has made available to its members compact sized CD publications, which have been produced with excellent sound quality.
The Korean DAISY Consortium was formed in early 2010 and consists of the following organizations:
