Page numbering errors

Hello,

There is a problem with Page Numbering when building DAISY 2.02 DTBs. I am numbering a book from pages 1-14, and when I open it in AMIS and on a Victor Reader, it only shows page 10. If I re-build the book in DAISY 3.0, the pages are there. However, Victor Reader can't properly read DAISY 3.0, so I need it to be 2.02.

Marking first phrase as page?

Are you marking the first phrase of a section as page in DAISY 2.02 DTB's?

If this is true then would like to inform you that DAISY 2.02 expect first phrase to be heading phrase and not page phrase.

For benefit of all users who will like to export to DAISY 2.02, will like to post personal replies given by Obi team on this topic.
This problem arise when first phrase of section is marked as page role.
According to DAISY 2.02 specifications, first phrase of a section is assumed
as heading phrase. So, if a page role is marked on first phrase then the
phrase is skipped during DAISY 2.02 export.
However, in DAISY 3.0, this is not a problem because DAISY 3.0
specifications allow first phrase of a section to be marked as page phrase.
So, for projects to be exported in DAISY 2.02, please take care that first phrase of section is not page phrase.
Obi developers will try to provide a work around for this limitation of DAISY 2.02 specs in future releases of Obi.

Regarding multiple DISC file specifically designed for Victor Reader or other daisy hardwares
player not for AMIS.
