Can Obi generate Full audio and full text DTB

I downloaded Obi 1.1 RC couple of days back.

I could not figure out a way to generate full audio full text DTB.

During playing with Obi I found that the term "phrase" seems to be a bit odd as it only refers to the audio of the phrase not the text of the phrase. I think if "phrase" is represented as a combination of "text and audio of phrase" it would be very good. How to implement it would definetley raise many questions ...

OBI is toc only

Hi,

OBI is a table of content (toc) only authoring tool. All headings will have text (phrases), but that's all the text that there will be.

Obi generates full audio DTBs

Hi Zubair,

Obi is an audio recording tool which can produce DAISY audio books only. Therefore you are right that phrases in Obi are audio recording of the text only.
In a phrase in Obi, text is not visible. To enhance the scope of term "phrase" to include full text and its audio recording , there is another project of DAISY , TOBI , which is under development.

For further information on phrases in Obi ,you can refer the help guide (F1) under help menu.

That would be wonderful if TOBI could include "text along with audio".

I am anxious to have that installed on my machine. I hope I won't have to wait long for that.
