Audio naming issue

in

We need to have a simple change to the audio naming don in Obi to support the Audio-Read Navigator. Rather than naming the first nine audio files aud1.wav, aud2.wav ... aud9.wav and so on we need to have them named aud01.wav, aud02.wav ... aud09.wav

This will ensure that they are played in corect order on the Audio-Read Navigator and similar devices.

Re: audio naming issue

Dear Greg,

Thanks for your feedback.
We will try to implement configurable initials for names of exported wav files. With this user will be able to configure, which characters he/she wants before numeric names.

Audio naming

It is good form to always place a zero (0) before any single digit number to insure proper sorting on all computer platforms. So a file anme daud1.wav would be aud01.wav

Having an option to set such an option would not be bad either but the number issue is a problem. I have a Perl script which fixes this issue but it would be nice to have it fixed to start with.

Re:Audio naming issue

Dear Greg,

We have included pipeline fileset namer with in Obi, this will solve fileset renaming demands from many users.
You can try it on next RC version of Obi which will be available in some weeks.,

with regards,
Avneesh
