crash when opening ncc file

Hello each time I try to open an ncc file in AMIS, the application crashes. I tried reinstalling IE because it told me my version was outdated. This was pretty strange because I allready had IE8, but anyway, I tried reinstalling it with latest updated AND reinstalled AMIS with the lastest version. Now the outdated IE version message was gone... But when I try to load an NCC file it crashes with only the standard error dialog from windows that an application crashed(see screenshot) I tried running in the 3 compatibility modes: - AMIS Compatibility Mode: This disables DirectX and Text-to-speech (TTS): WORKED WITH NO PROBLEM - AMIS Compatibility Mode with TTS: This disables DirectX but not TTS: WORKED WITH NO PROBLEM - AMIS Compatibility Mode with DirectX: This disables TTS but not DirectX: i can see the content of the ncc file and the text, but also gives the crash and closes the application(see screenshot) this is the content of my log-file when I run in 'normal mode' AMIS Log 03/19/10 10:45:59 ------------------------------------- MESSAGE: MESSAGE: Parsing file: file:///c:/documents and settings/all users/application data/amis/settings/amisprefs.xml [XercesSaxParseBase::parseFile] [Cached log message] MESSAGE: MESSAGE: Done parsing.
