AMIS and networked books

I can't seem to open daisy books that are stored on our local (microsoft 2003) network If I copy the book to my local PC the book opens OK Is it a permission thing on the server share? (user have read permissions) If it is is there a way to allow AMIS to write to a , local, temporary folder?
