Difficulties creating DAISY 3 Project with Obi 1.1

Greetings: I am using Obi 1.1 to create a project that is comprised of some wave files. I created the project structure with HTML and then imported the wave files that were supplied to me into sections. Some of the files needed to be split as they comprised multiple sections. All of this was done using commands in Obi. The project creation went as expected, except that one of my sections, when included, causes a validation error in the initial DAISY 3 conversion. The error states that an NCX file references audio that is past the end of the file, and then provides the Obi audio file name. I marked that section as unused and re-exported the book. When I used DAISY 3 Validator on it, the validation was successful so I converted it to MP3. Now, though, the book won't play on almost any DAISY hardware or software. What do I look for when trying to troubleshoot this problem? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
