  • Garth running through Open Items
    • Issue 42: Identification for alternate renditions: Feature of OCF used in examples in specification, where you can include non-.epub renditions, such as PDF. This was feature item and will be moved to future items.
    • Issue 39: Additional Series Metadata: Dismiss based on relation of Dublin Core element.
    • Issue 19:Specifications needed for Dictionaries and other reference works. Not proper for 2.01 document. Move to Future Directions. Might be able to create Informational Document on this issue/topic.
    • Issue 8: Covers & Metadata: For some prefer covers to be first page, where mobi wants to have different outline. Don't think this can be resolved at this time and will be moved to future direction.
      • HG: we still lack sufficient information. Need to know how many people use this information. For 2.01 Edits, this is not relevant for errata, but is important for moving forward. Possibly create Informational Documents.
    • Issue 37: Usign ops. swith c to HTML: Future Consideration
    • Issue 30:
    • Issue 41: Will be dismissed as file doesn't pass epubcheck (check with Garth)
    • issue 36:being move to proposed resolution with it being accepted with comments from Peter to get resolution
    • Issue 14: Will be turned into errata.
    • Issue 13: Ambiguous definitions in schema. Proposed resolution has complete replacement of text and needs to be looked at.
      • Take xsi-type Remove xsi-type attribute on the 5 DC Metadata Items on which it is allowed in schema. This brings schema inline with the spec.
      • In item element: (Garth and Peter will take this topic offline and research)
    •  All Issues have now been moved to allow editing of 2.01 elements
  • GK: We will need some WG Members to review updates and need some time committment to make this happen.
  • Hoping to have reviews looked at within group before go out for public review
  • Still have 7 issues which hopefully get resolved this week.
  • Each person who has an unresolved issue and we'd like to have it resolved in next week.
  •  Still have some work to do with validation suite and we need people to
