In simple terms the digital library can be considered the storage of digital informational content and the distribution of the content through digital or physical channels.
Examples could be Google print, DAISY CD-ROM distribution, or braille delivery. However the more robust digital library should be considered.
The advanced digital library would store information objects and through processing transform the digital object into a product for the end user.
