- E-text with structure. The marked up text file contains the structure and full text of the book. There are no audio files.
- Text Import
- In MyStudio PC the Text Import process is used to generate synthesized speech from the selected text file. The generated audio is produced with a TTS Engine.

- Term used in Sigtuna DAR 3 for an NCC-only DTB, a type 2 DAISY book.

- Acronym for text to speech.
