The key points in this section are:
- Move audio events
- Split and join to adjust an event length

- Delete or split an audio event which contains only 'silence'

- Editing (join or split) the audio event corresponding to the first event (Table of Contents)
When an NCC item is selected, the audio event corresponding to the NCC title will be played back. If the NCC item is very long there may be more than one audio event corresponding to that item, that is, the audio may be split into more than one event. If this is the case, you can join these audio events so that the audio for the entire heading is heard when it is selected. Please note that the maximum playback time of a single audio event on the edit screen is 10 seconds, therefore an audio event longer than 10 seconds will not play out to the end.
Highlight the audio events corresponding to the text event
After the audio event editing is complete the text events are moved. This is explained in the next section, "Move events in the event list".
If you plan to add text using ATAU, it is better to edit audio events considering the length of the text you want to synchronize later. If you will be using Auto HTML mode in ATAU, editing of the audio events in relation to the text events is important.
