Preparation of a proper (X)HTML file and audio events can difficult for the effective use of the "Auto HTML" mode. The (X)HTML file must contain 'elements' at correct places. Each larger segment in the (X)HTML must have certain elements, such as "span" elements, placed at the beginning and the end of these text segments. The audio events have to be edited to accord with the elements of the (X)HTML file. If these conditions are met, this mode is very efficient.
Unlike the other two modes, in this mode, the playback does not stop automatically- it will play continuously until it reaches the end of the SMIL file. Synchronization will complete in the total playback time.
