This mode is useful when you want to add text to existing audio material such as a recorded lecture with no script, or audio books without text. It can be used for summarized text synchronization, which can help people to better comprehend the contents of the audio material, or revising text of existing synchronized books.
When you select this mode the first audio event is played back. The text displayed in the tab window is the NCC item. Ensure that the audio event corresponds to the text. Click the "Do Synch" button (CTRL+Return) for synchronization.

The steps for revising text of a XHTML file is described below.
Locate the NCC item to be changed using the navigation buttons in the upper right. When the text of the NCC item to be changed is displayed in the tab window, revise the text, then click "Do Sync" button to finalize. If one text event is synchronized with more than one audio event, check to determine if the text is synchronized with the correct audio event. To do this, simply click the "Play current audio event" (F6) button.
