Information needs vary widely, and this system is being developed to be both flexible and adaptable. A successful information source must be current. The DAISY KN has therefore been designed to be easy to refresh and 'feed' with new content. It is possible to add or modify modules and will be possible to prepare and develop a variety of courses or presentations from any location.
The DAISY KN will develop as a current and refreshable information system that will facilitate fast and easy compilation of material, allowing customization to meet the user's requirements.
The structure of the Knowledge Network has been defined, initial content requirements have been identified, including both existing and relevant content and content which must be developed or updated.
