Graphic based User Agents support the CSS specifications to different degrees. There are CSS Editors that have a "checking feature" that analyses the CSS document to see if there are any known incompatibility isses.
There are also several workarounds - exploits - that can be used to "trick" user agents into graphically displaying the document as intended.
