This thing talks too fast!! How do I slow it down?

  1. Open JAWS menu
  2. Open the Options menu
  3. Open the Voices menu
  4. Activate the Global in the menu, and a dialog box pops up
  5. Make sure that the first radio button that says ``Default'' is selected instead of ``Application.''
  6. The second item in the dialog box is the speed adjustment, use the arrow keys to adjust
  7. Tab to the OK button and hit enter
