DAISY Knowledge Network
Sharing our Collective Knowledge
The DAISY Knowledge Network (DKN) is an information resource designed to assist in and support the implementation of DAISY standards worldwide.
The DKN is made up of a series of "modules" grouped by topic. Each module contains a set of linked documents that may be used as an on-line resource, presented screen by screen in a presentation or instructional course (on-line or off-line), or downloaded and used as a self-study tool off-line.
The content of the DKN will continue to be developed and expanded. Modules will be added to existing topics, and the range of topics will grow. If you have a question or if you are seeking an answer to a specific problem or dilemma, you may find the answer here.
The DKN is not static. Members and Friends of the DAISY Consortium will be able to submit modules to the DKN, adding to its depth and breadth. Others will also be able to submit content for consideration for addition to the DKN.
As development of the design and function of the DKN advances, Members will be able to customize the configuration of DKN content for unique requirements, sequencing the modules to meet differing purposes.
To get started with the DKN, choose the link "Modules by Topic" on the sidebar menu. You may also browse the site for specific topics or keywords by using the Google Search function available on the sidebar navigation menu.
If you have any questions about the DKN, please use the Contact Us form.
